so yea this post might be a little late, but i finally can get down to writing what happend during my birthday.well, more or less alvin did all the work. haha it was so greaat. on the 17th, me and my family with david and alvin went out for dinner since the 18th was alvin's day for me. ate some thai food at suntec which was great . loved the dinner.

on the 18th, he picked me up. he wore the striped espirit shirt which he bought few months ago and was 'craving' to wear it for sooo long and finally he had the chance. paired it with some beige pants and the converse shoes. i wore some psbb skirt and a shirt . he picked me in a taxi. ahhhh so sweet leh, gimme some flowers. first time iever received from him. didnt want to put in my bag, so carried it around with me. now i know how it feels like when other girls get flowers from their guy. it was ethereal albeit the slight weirdness cuz everyone's looking at you.
we watched a movie, superbad, at lido. STuuupid show, testosterone filled movie for guys about guys who talk abt wanting sex with girls cuz they were going to graduate from high school.bought a macfish meal before that cuz we were hungry. shared it in the cinema. then he had this 'treasure' hunt game throughout the whole day. i had to listen to some videos he had prepared. clues given in forms of pictures.

firstly, there was a spa and facial at HOUSE, somewhere in dempsey hill where i think is pretty inacessible w/o car. i can't imagine how he could walk all the way up there to book for my birthday wowww. i just loveeee the ambience there. if i were rich, i would go there every month to relax. he prepared this spa treatment for me cuz i gues maybe i mightve complained i was tired of sch and work. thats what the video said anyway. haha spent like 600 ++ there which he paid. awww thanks dear! really ex. haha he joined in with me as well, had some massage and facial i think. the room was realllyyy lovely. loved the scenery. wished i could've lived there forever but....

next, he had the front desk lady book a taxi to...... mount faber! alvin had booked a cable car sky dining dinner for us. wooooooo that was really cool. he asked me how would i rate the whole day, i said its 9.5/10 because... there was this long wait to get onto the cable car. the manager forgot to ask us about our reservation. but you know, it didnt matter cuz to me, the day was reallyyy perfect. couldn't have been better.

so we had this 3 course meal thing starting with tomato soup, the main course being either chicken or fish, which i took, ending the ride with apple crumble and coffee or tea.was really dark so we couldn't see much but saw magnificent cruise ship at dock, vivo city from top, the merlion thing at sentosa. in the car, it was dark couldn't see our food but... there was a 'candle' light luminating our table. haha its fake bulb that pretending to flicker so it resembles a candle. we both thought it was real. occasionally when we passed by the main cable car station, some fella gave us some pictures to buy, so we bought the entire set. was for memories.

then came the best part where he actually called the cell to the vivo city fountain to surprise me with a cake. awwww he really goes through great lengths to make the day . jingyu, jac , clara, zicai and arnold were there. thanks for coming over! really meant a lot for me. took some pictures, then we went back home together on the train. he went all the way to send me back to my doorstep.

so really, its not what was done, but how much he had thought into making this a really great birthday for me. it was the greatest day of my life ... so far. i can't wait to see what'll happen in the future. thanks alvin, love you!!
